Terrible company

This is by far and I mean BY FAR, THE BEST MECHANIC SHOP EVA! I have gone here for the past year now. The customer service and turn around time for repairs is outstanding! The prices cannot be beat and the quality just cannot be outdone! Other places pale in comparison. If it weren’t for this place, I’d be without my car. If you need car repairs then GOING HERE IS A MUST!!!!! You will not be disappointed!!! FIVE STARS ALL AROUND!!!!!!

Took it in for evap problem and month later and 3000. Still could not fix it. Before he started I told him to save the spark plugs and show them to me because he said they were really dirty threw them away. I also told him to use Bosch platinum. He put something else more expensive just to charge more. I know what works best for my car. The third time he let slip out he didn't use a OEM evap system put something cheap to make more money. I good mechanic will always use OEM parts especially for a classic muscle car. Close to a 1000 miles was add in a month time .kept telling me it would pass . When it failed the forth times just after five minutes, I call first thing in the morning and said he would get back to me and blew me off. Do not take your car to him for emissions. Now I can't drive it its my only car and am losing overtime at work. He didn't listen the first time And I lost 3000 dollars to him .Going to sue him to get back my money not only that the other mechanic put a Crack in the dash board jumping over the console all he had to do was open the door handle it works from the inside don't trust this place if you want your car fixed with OEM parts stay away from this place. Zero stars.

Was taking family members to O'Hare to catch a flight. 40 miles from airport and 100 miles from home, the oil pressure light came on in my 2002 Volkswagon Eurovan. Googled and called Sunset and spoke to Armando. He said bring it in and he will look at ASAP. Mechanic Joe diagnosed the problem. Oil pressure was OK, but the sensor is bad. They would have to order part, which my time frame did not allow. Armando said it is fine to drive, replace the sensor when you get back home. Was back on the road in 20 minutes. If you are looking for auto service to be done in the Waukegan area, give Sunset a call. Armando, Joe, and Nani.....lady at front desk were absolutely awesome. Good honest people. Thanks again Armando, you really helped me out in a big way!!!!!

Was at Emissions and found out a different mechanic had unplugged something while installing an remote starter in my mom's car - was impacting our ability to have the emissions tested. Zipped down the street to Sunset and they immediately helped us resolve the issue, was friendly, courteous, and saved the day!

Took my 2020 Chevy Equinox in for new brake pads and rotors, you guys did an awesome job! Thank you!

I am glad that I went there. The place is clean the people are professional. They got my car in right away and fixed my tire. The price for the tire repair was reasonable. I will go back.
